Departure from Sofia at 06:00 to the town of Kazanlak. Arrival in Kazanlak. At 09.00 the tradition of “picking” the rose begins. A worm welcome with bread and salt by girls and boys in old Bulgarian custom, examining contemporary and authentic rose oil, rose testing and other essential oils, treats with liquor “Rose”. A gift for every tourist – a certified Bulgarian rose oil, will be given. After that you will visit the Museum of the Rose. Then visit the largest and most well preserved Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak, dated of the 4th century BC and in 1979 listed in the UNESCO – World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Lunch with a traditional Bulgarian cuisine. Monitoring the carnival in Kazanlak, which begins at 13:00. Departure to Sofia at 16:00. Arriving late afternoon.
